Based in NW3 in north London, Studiohire was formed in south London in 1978 to offer musical and studio equipment hire services and is currently celebrating its 30^th Anniversary. We have grown dramatically over the years and Studiohire is now one of the largest musical equipment hire companies in the UK.

Back in the 1970s, we were hiring out Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer pianos, various organs, and the very exciting new technology of the time - the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, Oberheim OBXa synthesizers and Lexicon Reverbs.

In 1987 we crossed the river to north London and we are still hiring these items today, but we now have the largest stock of vintage keyboards for rental in the country and probably in Europe! Just check out our Vintage Synthesizer page on this website and see!

Our customers range from rock and pop bands to classical orchestras, theatre production companies, film, television and radio stations to private individuals and other hire companies too.

We have always tried to keep up with the latest technology in the last 25 years and have been reluctant to sell any equipment when its popularity has diminished. We therefore have a massive collection of equipment still in stock of keyboards, drum machines, effects and backline from the 1970s, 80s and 90s and the latest cutting-edge computer-based technology of the 21st Century.

We have in stock virtually everything you could want for a performance or studio recording, whether Pop, Jazz or Classical.
